Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Communications interns help tell the company’s story to employees, communities, customers, and other stakeholders. Interns may support internal communications, executive communications, digital and social content, media relations, events, employee engagement, writing and editing, visual storytelling, and measurement of communication effectiveness.
  • Potential Internship Assignments May Include
  • - Research, write, edit, and publish internal or external communications
  • - Support digital, social, multimedia, and employee-engagement content
  • - Assist with events, executive communications, and media/community activities
  • - Track communication metrics and help improve audience reach and effectiveness
  • These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Wichita, KS.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027
  • Employer will not sponsor applications for employment visa status

Preferred

  • Relocation based on candidate eligibility
  • The ability to relocate and work onsite
  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
  • Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Majoring in one of the following: Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Digital Media, Business, or other related fields
