Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to drive referrals and raise visibility.
  • Conduct outreach activities, attend community events, enhance partnerships, and provide excellent customer service to clients and families.
  • Coordinate educational sessions, deliver training, and share information on available services.
  • Provide boots-on-the-ground onboarding support to help family members onboard as caregivers.
  • Bring a proactive, compassionate, people-focused approach to foster meaningful community relationships.

Requirements

  • Strong community engagement/outreach skills to represent the organization and build partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities to interact with clients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in New Jersey DDD In-Home Support and PA ODP In-Home/Community Participation Support services, with a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and promoting inclusivity.
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Community Education and Community Outreach to engage and inform diverse audiences.
  • Background in Education and Training to deliver informative sessions and workshops to staff and families.
  • Must be able to travel as needed across the region (NJ/PA) to support job function.
  • Part or full-time (minimum 25 hours per week).
