- Must-have: Minimum 1yr of college coursework (approx. 30 credits) in PR-related fields.
- Standout: Exposure to influencer relations/marketing and media outreach through an integrated agency.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct industry news & trends research for media touchpoints, competitive analysis, etc
- Track media/social coverage and assist in the creation of client reports
- Assist with writing assignments, e.g., media pitches, press releases, product fact sheets, etc.
- Help identify brand appropriate influencers, celebrities, tastemakers and more
- Join client and team meetings/calls, and provide insights/ideas when appropriate
- Participate in creative brainstorms
Requirements
- Minimum 1yr of college level courses (approx. 30 credits)
- Coursework that lends itself to PR; may include Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Psychology, Influencer Relations/Marketing, Social Media, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to work minimum of 10 hours per week
Preferred
- Cision knowledge and/or previous internship experience is a plus
