Responsibilities

• Serve as senior speechwriter for the President & CEO and Executive Leadership Team
• Lead integrated communications strategies and campaigns, internally and externally
• Manage PR firm support and external relations as needed
• Ensure consistency and quality across all UWNYC marketing and communications materials
• Mentor Communications Associate and support team development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field required
• 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications in a consumer-facing or mission-driven organization
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messaging
• Experienced communicator capable of presenting strategy and results to senior leadership
• Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work across multiple departments, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with communications technologies and digital platforms
