  • Own end-to-end batch campaigns across channels.
  • Collaborate with CRM, analytics, and tech teams to optimize content placement and decisioning.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Hands-On Batch Campaign Build & Execution Serve as a primary builder — hands-on-keyboard in campaign platforms to construct, QA, schedule, deploy, and support batch campaigns across email, SMS, and app push. Translate campaign briefs, marketing calendars, audience requirements, creative assets, CDP/platform inputs, and stakeholder direction into accurate batch deliverables. Assemble templates, modules, and content blocks with deliberate attention to placement, hierarchy, and sequencing — building sends so that the most relevant content occupies the highest-value real estate for each audience. Coordinate execution across campaigns, and customer segments — managing timelines, dependencies, approvals, asset intake, and deployment readiness. Partner with CRM, lifecycle, eCommerce, brand, creative, analytics, marketing technology, mobile/app, legal/compliance, and platform/vendor teams. CDP, Audience & Segmentation Support This position from time to time will play a support role in segmentation, supporting audience creation, segmentation, targeting, and validation with CRM strategy, analytics, CDP, and marketing technology stakeholders. Define, document, and QA audience logic across segments including acquisition, active, lapsing, lapsed, reactivated, loyalty/member, high-value, and behavior-based groups. Validate suppressions, exclusions, consent requirements, personalization rules, and targeting logic to ensure the right message — and the right content within that message — reaches the right customer through the right channel. Campaign QA & Customer Experience Own cross-channel QA including links, images, copy, subject lines, preheaders, SMS character limits, push copy, personalization, dynamic and AI-selected content, audience logic, tracking, rendering, send timing, quiet hours, and compliance language. Identify and resolve campaign risks — content inconsistencies, broken links, rendering issues, tracking gaps, targeting concerns, or approval needs — before deployment. Maintain high standards for accuracy, customer experience, and brand presentation across all owned media channels. Personalization, Content Placement & AI Decisioning Drive personalization through relevant content placement — determining which offers, products, categories, and creative modules appear for which audiences, and in what order, to maximize the value of every placement in a send. Build and maintain the dynamic content, rules, and variable logic that power personalized placements at scale, so that a single batch send delivers meaningfully different experiences across segments. Maintain operational understanding of how decisioning rules, content libraries, eligibility criteria, and fallback/default content behave, and QA AI-generated or AI-selected content for accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance before deployment. Document configurations, test cases, and execution standards for new tools, and help translate vendor and platform capabilities into repeatable operational processes. Partner with marketing technology, data, analytics, and vendor teams to troubleshoot issues, validate outputs, and improve decisioning performance over time. Testing, Measurement & Optimization Execute A/B and multivariate tests across batch campaigns and channels — including content placement, module ordering, offer relevance, and decisioning tests — covering setup, QA, monitoring, and documentation. Treat each send as media inventory to be optimized — analyzing placement-level and module-level performance to understand what content earns engagement, and applying those learnings to future builds. Partner with analytics and strategy teams to translate insights into future optimizations and close the feedback loop between planning, execution, and outcomes. Compliance, Governance & Best Practices Ensure campaigns follow legal, compliance, privacy, brand, and data protection guidelines across email, SMS, and push. Maintain working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, SMS consent, opt-out handling, quiet hours, state-by-state requirements, and applicable privacy standards. Promote repeatable execution standards, process documentation, and scalable cross-channel operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate across Owned Media, Brand, eCommerce, CRM Strategy, Loyalty, Analytics, Creative, Marketing Technology, Mobile/App, Legal/Compliance, and vendor partners. Communicate clearly on campaign status, risks, QA findings, approval needs, and performance insights. Act as a bridge between strategy, data, technology, creative, and execution.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, email, SMS/push marketing, campaign operations, or a related digital marketing role.
  • Demonstrated hands-on build experience — personally constructing, QA'ing, and deploying campaigns at volume across one or more owned media channels.
  • Familiarity with email/SMS/push platforms, CRM tools, CDPs, campaign management systems, and emerging AI/content decisioning technologies.
  • Understanding of owned media KPIs: delivered volume, open/click rate, conversion, revenue, engagement, opt-outs, and customer value metrics.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, campaign reporting, and translating results into recommendations.
  • A media optimization mindset — the instinct to treat owned channels as inventory, to question why a placement underperformed, and to pair that curiosity with disciplined, error-free execution.
  • Knowledge of compliance and privacy concepts: CAN-SPAM, TCPA, consent, suppressions, GDPR, and data handling best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical mindset, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative, curious, customer-focused, and comfortable in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; retail, eCommerce, DTC, or omnichannel experience preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience with segmentation, audience targeting, dynamic content, content placement and personalization logic, or AI-assisted content decisioning tools preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field preferred.
