Job Summary

Own and oversee institutional and retirement sponsorship programs from intake to post-event analysis, coordinating multi‑stakeholder plans and cross‑channel experiences.

  • Drive end-to-end sponsorship planning, activation, and post-program recaps across events, digital channels, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to align programs with business priorities and ensure timely approvals and clear communications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • S upport institutional and retirement audiences, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and approvals are managed effectively across stakeholders.
  • Support third-party sponsorship programs (institutional investments space) end-to-end, including intake, planning, execution, and post-event follow-up (e.g., activation checklists, internal updates, deliverable tracking, and results summaries).
  • Manage sponsorship activations and logistics in partnership with events and channel teams—supporting items such as attendee communications, on-site materials, speaking/session support, collateral readiness, and lead capture/hand-off processes (as applicable).
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to ensure sponsorships and cross-segment programs are aligned to business priorities, audience needs, and field enablement requirements.
  • Support digital client journey execution for institutional and retirement audiences by coordinating updates across channels (e.g., web, email, event pages) and ensuring experiences remain current and accurate.
  • Oversee day-to-day marketing communications workflows (as assigned), including drafting requests/briefs, consolidating feedback, routing materials through review, and maintaining version control and documentation.
  • Enable performance reporting and recaps by partnering with analytics/reporting teams to compile results, maintain scorecards, and capture learnings and recommended next steps.
  • Maintain strong marketing controls and disclosure discipline , partnering with Legal/Compliance and internal reviewers to support timely, well-documented approvals and adherence to firm standards.
  • Build strong working relationships across a matrix , fostering clear communication, inclusive collaboration, and proactive problem-solving across lines of business, regions, and marketing centers of excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, events/sponsorship marketing, client marketing, or program management within financial services, asset management, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously, managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders with attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting third-party sponsorships, events, or conference programs (planning, activation support, deliverable tracking, and post-program recaps).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to synthesize inputs, draft clear updates, and keep teams aligned.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions (marketing, sales, product, events, digital, analytics).
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through; ability to anticipate needs and proactively surface risks/issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with institutional client segments (defined benefit, endowments/foundations, healthcare, retirement/401(k)) and/or institutional investment products.
  • Experience partnering with external vendors, conference organizers, and internal events/brand teams to execute sponsorship deliverables.
  • Experience with marketing measurement basics (e.g., engagement metrics, lead capture processes, event/sponsorship KPIs) and post-program readouts.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with sales partners and senior stakeholders through reliable execution and clear communication.
  • Comfort operating in a strong controls environment, including supporting review/approval processes and maintaining documentation.
