Job Description

Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, generate insights on the access environment within managed care and self-pay markets to serve as foundation for launch strategy development
  • Support in the development of the Value Proposition, Value Story & Messaging as well creating the launch assets for market access field teams
  • Support in developing access strategies and create tactical programs targeting US access influencers within traditional payers, fertility benefit managers, and MSOs.
  • In close collaboration with key internal US and Global partners, supporting the development of pricing recommendations and contracting strategies for new US fertility assets.
  • Collaborate with the Trade, Channel and SP strategy teams to support the development of distribution strategy, dispensing and data strategy for new US fertility assets.
  • Support in the development of the US Brand Plan for fertility product across key channels (commercial insurance plans, PBMs, FBMs, MSOs and self-pay) including access strategies, tactics, and budget allocation in collaboration with Account Management, Operations, Pricing Analytics, Health Outcomes, Finance, Brand Marketing and Medical teams.
  • Ensure proposed strategies and tactics are supported through market research, advisory boards, and customer channel feedback
  • Support NEVD with PIE presentation strategy and planning and support with build out of B2B decks
  • Track market changes and access influencer trends, and share updates through verbal and written means with the rest of the Value and Access team, including senior leadership
  • Work with Patient Access Solution teams and customer support teams to develop tactics that provide a seamless process to optimize reimbursement for EMD Serono fertility brands
  • Work collaboratively with Government Affairs to ensure seamless coordinated market access and coverage plan and identify commercial implications of pending legislation
  • Prepare and support in the deliver relevant Leadership Launch Updates and Reports
  • Keeps sight of Key Performance Indicators and contributes to ongoing strategy and tactics to improve performance of EMD Serono fertility brands
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of all Company policies as well as compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years bio-pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience OR Masters Degree and minimum 3+ years' experience OR PhD and minimum 2+ years' experience
  • This role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization. External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Nice To Have

  • Masters Degree, PharmD, PhD preferred
  • 3 years in payer access developing strategies and value propositions for Fertility products preferred
  • Knowledge of US Fertility and payer landscape including: Commercial payers, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran’s Affair, Department of Defense, Group Purchasing Organization, Integrated Delivery Networks, Fertility Benefit Managers, Self-Pay and future payer models and fertility access influencers including Management Service Organizations and Fertility Pharmacies
  • Ability to identify & provide solutions to market access management trends including physician payment models, ASP Impact, 340B, self-pay, copays & coinsurance, Prior Authorization
  • Ability to communicate openly and share information to foster trust while encouraging constructive debate, making informed decisions, and ensuring shared commitment to outcomes.
  • Proficiency to translate complex information into succinct and impactful marketing messages; ability to present to all levels of the organizations to individuals and groups as well as respond succinctly and clearly to any questions
  • Outstanding team orientation and ability to influence without authority. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Fine-tuned project and time management skills. Excellent organizational skills
