Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize the firm’s growth strategy priorities (inclusive of national sector and functional growth priorities) and adapt them into a comprehensive, targeted GTM strategy that is specific and relevant to the assigned geographic market
  • Serve as the primary expert on the local market landscape, including key industry trends, competitive dynamics, and high-value buyer segments within the geography, leveraging data and collaborating with the Insights and Intelligence (I&I) team
  • Act as the strategic liaison between national growth strategy leaders and local geo leadership (OMP, audit and tax BUPICs, advisory market leader); gather inputs from sector/functional/channel counterparts and collaborate with local partners to ensure the geo strategy is aligned and supported
  • Translate the geo-specific strategy into clear, prioritized inputs (key themes, target accounts, and local growth objectives) for the buyer marketing team to incorporate into the master marketing calendar; serve as liaison for buyer marketing team in the geography to translate and guide the geo-based marketing execution team
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

Requirements

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in GTM strategy, field marketing, strategic planning, or a related role with a strong understanding of a specific geographic market
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university ideally in business, strategy, marketing, or a related field is required; MBA is a plus
  • Expertise in strategic market planning and the ability to translate national strategy into local, actionable plans
  • Strong analytical skills, including buyer analysis, competitive analysis, and information synthesis
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the executive presence to advise and influence local firm leadership
  • A high degree of business judgment to prioritize initiatives and make data-driven recommendations; must be physically based in, and operate out of, the specific geographic market designated in this job posting
