Job Summary

Own cross functional eCommerce ownership of planning, content and promotions, and UX with a data driven lens on site UX, checkout, and analytics.

  • Own eCommerce strategy and cross functional collaboration to drive growth and profitability.
  • Own site navigation, content publishing, and checkout optimization across promotions and campaigns.
  • Own web analytics and reporting to inform executive decision making.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, brand design, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the eCommerce strategy.
  • Manage the user experience of the product and website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing.
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, outside agencies, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into eCommerce projects.
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability.
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
  • From time to time additional responsibilities or projects may be assigned by the president to assist division partners in the growth of digital businesses.
Requirements
  • In depth knowledge of online marketplace.
  • Proven experience with eCommerce projects.
  • Experience with B2C and digital marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of e-commerce technology.
  • Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience and/or additional eCommerce.
