Own brand architecture and governance for IEEE, leading a refreshed identity across units, and driving scalable transformation through process, AI-enabled content workflows, and vendor ecosystem optimization.

Brand strategy, messaging, and visual identity across a multi-brand ecosystem with governance and alignment for all assets.
Operations, intake, and delivery: streamline requests, ensure cost-effective, brand-safe outputs, and manage agencies and internal teams.
Transformation & AI: lead an innovation agenda with AI-enabled content versioning and tooling to boost productivity.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Brand Messaging & Visual Identity: Lead the development and rollout of a refreshed IEEE brand positioning, messaging framework, and visual identity.
Adoption & Governance: Drive the adoption of the refreshed brand across IEEE OUs and Societies through roadshows, toolkits and templates. Support OUs and Societies in defining their own brand narratives that align with the master brand.
One IEEE Events & Brand Moments: Own the strategy and brand messaging of all One IEEE events, working in close partnership with CEE team as the execution partner
Marketing Services & Operations
Brand Governance: Manage the Marketing Services team (currently overseeing 500+ deliverables per year) to ensure all assets—from banners to websites—are brand-aligned and reflect “one IEEE.”
Project Management: Optimize the intake and fulfillment process for marketing requests, ensuring cost-effective and brand-safe delivery for internal partners.
Vendor Management: Streamline the agency roster to ensure consistent output and successful onboarding of external partners to new brand guidelines.
Innovation & Team Leadership
AI Integration: Lead the team in achieving a 10%25 productivity improvement target through the use of AI tools for content versioning and creative asset development.
Organizational Transformation: Support the Senior Director in redesigning the BMC structure and fostering a "test and learn" culture of out-of-the-box thinking.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Marketing, Communications, or a related field Req
Master's or other advanced degree Pref
10-15 years Brand management, marketing strategy, or creative agency leadership Req
Leadership: Proven ability to manage diverse teams, including project managers, designers, and external vendors.
Strategy: Expertise in developing brand strategies and messaging frameworks across a house of brands or brand ecosystem.
Technical: Familiarity with creative workflows, Canva Enterprise, Adobe Creative Cloud, and digital asset management systems.
