Job Description
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB
You will be an integral part of a tenured, best-in-category team and managing the relationship with one of the world's largest retailers. Building a strong connection to consumers and culture is at the epicenter of our work. Solid partnerships with Clients is how we have evolved and grown our relationship. We are insight based, strategically minded and creatively courageous. We are looking for the right person to work hard and play hard with us.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE DOING IT AT MOMENTUM
Because the idea that a brand’s action is more important than its rhetoric is the key to our entire approach. It is all about the experience and we can—hands down, bar-none—create that better than anyone else. That’s not jargon or ego—it’s truth. Experience creates the connections that lead to loyalty, advocacy and sales. So we imagine and create those things here, in what we call the total brand experience. And how we do it is with genius, dedication, strategic thinking and working together as one fearless, handsome troop. Before you get any ideas, it’s important you know we’re serious about taking care of each other here. So think on that. We work too closely not to have fun together. We work too smart not to make the world better. And we work too well not to continually push for more. Think on all that, too.
Core Responsibilities
Support of Workstreams: Assist in the execution of standard retail marketing creative development and ad-hoc projects, ensuring all internal cross-functional teams are aligned and milestones are met on time.
Strategic Escalation: Manage intake of day-to-day client requests and expectations while identifying when to escalate information or issues to senior Business Leadership.
Proactive Project Management: Demonstrate a working understanding of agency processes and workflow to move projects through the system with minimal friction.
Account Operations & Maintenance: Ensure the account’s "operational health" by managing meeting invites, maintaining up-to-date status documents, and overseeing project tracking and financial billing.
Senior Team Support: Directly assist senior Business Leadership team members with client needs, IAT involvement and strategic planning needs.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage internal team collaboration to ensure all work is cross-communicated and executed to agency standards.
Legal & Quality Control: Work with internal and client legal teams to ensure all marketing materials are legally cleared and reflect a "keen eye" for accuracy and brand standards.
Category and Competitive Insight: Maintain a current working knowledge of the relevant competitive and category landscape and leverage to research and author a monthly competitive newsletter for distribution to Clients and interagency teams.
Qualifications And Requirements
Professional Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience. Retail marketing experience preferred.
Agency Experience: 2+ years of agency experience with a solid understanding of agency processes, department functions, and workflow.
Industry Knowledge: Possession of advertising industry knowledge and/or experience is preferred.

Ambitious Drive: Exhibits a high level of energy and professional drive, consistently looking for ways to improve output and exceed established objectives.
Intellectual Curiosity: Maintains a natural curiosity about consumer culture, and emerging marketing trends, using that insight to bring fresh perspectives to the team and the client.
Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with a focus on project tracking, status updates, financial oversight & server maintenance.
Supportive Mindset: A collaborative style and the ability to effectively support senior leaders on high-stakes workstreams.
