Job Summary

Own the category’s product pipeline, packaging, and SKU portfolio while turning market data into execution plans that move volume and margin.

  • Product & Packaging Ownership: lead 3C/4P analysis with R&D, shepherding new items and line extensions from concept to market.
  • Insights to Activation: translate market research, POS data, and category trends into compelling sales materials, packaging decisions, and promos that drive sell-through.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Assist in the identification and development of new products, product improvements, packaging improvements, and line extensions – develops 3C/4P analysis and development. Partners with R&D. - Develop insightful, clear, and impactful sales presentations to support new products and educate on category trends/consumer understanding. - Assist in the execution of consumer communication / promotional support, working with Hartz agency of record on 360-degree consumer activation. - Monitor and analyze sales performance key drivers (POS based and internal shipments) and develop accurate forecasts. - Partner closely with Marketing Coordinator in development/approval of packaging design. - Market Research & Insights: Analyze and summarize results of market research and POS data; maintain knowledge of key competitive activity, new products, product improvements, and market/channel trends within the category to keep competitive; develop materials to execute consumer market research studies. - Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist in SKU portfolio management for the category and inventory; provide support to cross-functional project team to execute plans and provide direction on day to day management of business issues and opportunities; provide support to forecast volume and work through S&OP process; develop P&L’s for new items / existing items to evaluate pricing/cost/trade; help maintain IRI database integrity for their category Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field - Minimum of 3+ years of Marketing experience - At least 1 year as an Assistant Brand Manager or equivalent - 2 years in a senior Marketing support role for a CPG company - Data Analysis Experience: Experience in syndicated data analysis (IRI/Circana/Nielsen PO/S and Panel Data) - Technic(al) Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs - Willingness and ability to travel domestically a few times a year - Develop P&L’s for new items / existing items to evaluate pricing/cost/trade - Assist in SKU portfolio management for the category and inventory - Monitor and analyze sales performance key drivers (POS based and internal shipments) and develop accurate forecasts Benefits - Hybrid Work Schedule: Enjoy flexibility with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. - Pet-Friendly Culture: Bring your pet to work and enjoy a casual, inclusive environment. - Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Receive a generous 401(k) match with immediate vesting. - Generous Paid Time Off: Enjoy up to 34 paid days off annually. - Paid Leaves: Parental leave, Bereavement leave, and Military leave. - Comprehensive Health Coverage: Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Healthcare FSA, and Mental Health EAP, basic Life insurance and Disability Insurance. - Tuition Reimbursement & Career Growth: Access to tuition reimbursement and other learning and development opportunities. - Employee Perks: Volunteer opportunities, fun employee events, and more!
