Job Summary

Own the marketing and fan-experience engine for Holy Cross athletics, delivering integrated campaigns, in-game activations, and community/sponsorship programs to drive attendance and revenue.

  • Campaigns & Promotions: Drive comprehensive marketing and promotional programs for assigned sports that maximize attendance and revenue.
  • Fan Experience & Digital Presence: Coordinate in-game events, PA, music, and social/media presence with sports teams and media relations.
  • Community & Sponsorship Fulfillment: Oversee Kids Club, sponsorship contracts, and outward community engagement to grow the Crusaders brand.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Major Areas of ResponsibilityDevelop & implement comprehensive marketing & promotional campaigns for assigned sports designed to maximize attendance and revenue
  • Manage all in-game promotional activities for assigned sports including scripting, music, in-game entertainment, scheduling PA announcers and more.
  • Work directly with assigned sports and media relations contacts to consistently enhance the programs digital presence and media involvement
  • Consistently work to create memorable fan experiences for patrons of Holy Cross Athletics events
  • Assist the Director of Athletics Marketing in the creation and management revenue streams
  • Management of the Crusaders’ Kids Club
  • Work closely with Crusader Sports Properties to ensure fulfillment of all sponsorship contracts
  • Oversee community engagement initiatives aimed at growing the Holy Cross brand in the Worcester community
  • Schedule and staff marketing interns both in office and for events
  • Work in conjunction with media relations department to maximize social media engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sport management or other related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in collegiate or professional sports marketing, experience can include internships and graduate assistantships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Adobe Photoshop experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, including both verbal and written
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
