Job Summary

Internal Communications and editorial calendar ownership combine with external content production to drive student recruitment and program visibility.

  • Own internal comms cadence, cross-team coordination, and channel reporting to keep graduate programs aligned.
  • Manage external content, vendor relationships, and ROI tracking for online programs and events.
  • Lead web content strategy and social publishing across graduate online offerings with admissions and marketing partners.

Job Description

  • Produce, write, proof, edit and facilitate internal communications for Santa Clara Online: emails, meetings, and project management between Santa Clara Online team and graduate school representatives; ensure clear and consistent internal communication; oversee master editorial calendar; collaborate with University Marketing & Communications; track and report effectiveness of communications across channels.
  • Produce, write, proof, edit and publish long-form content for external channels (press releases, blog posts); oversee relationships with marketing vendors or cross-campus partners; manage event reminder emails for online programs; production and distribution of Vice Provost of Graduate Program materials.
  • Develop and publish content on web pages, social media platforms; identify visuals; ensure latest social platforms are used; assist in overseeing school-specific social platforms; assist staff with updating websites.
  • Be knowledgeable about graduate online programs; collaborate with admissions to streamline processes.
  • Develop, implement and maintain web pages and websites using HTML, T4, WordPress; drive web usability; create social assets; monitor campaigns; design and lead marketing strategy for online programs; facilitate web creation and user experience for sites and landing pages; work with program directors on marketing plans; document and promote successes; develop targeted email campaigns; monitor and report campaign performance; assist with budgets; market emerging online programs; align with recruitment objectives; provide ROI data for external relationships.
  • Execute day-to-day student recruitment activities: outreach, prospect and lead generation; represent Santa Clara Online at events; increase visibility through outreach programs; oversee recruiting events; manage lead nurturing journeys through email, text and phone; collaborate with recruitment partners and CRM systems to optimize leads.
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3 years of work experience
  • CRM systems such as Slate
  • Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, Canva)
  • Website development/design (T4, WordPress, HTML Email campaigns)
  • Social Media strategies and communication software
