Alumni Engagement Officer

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Alumni Engagement Officer in the Office of University Advancement. The selected individual will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that foster meaningful relationships between the university and its alumni. This individual will work to increase alumni participation, strengthen alumni relationships, and support institutional advancement goals through engagement, communication, and events. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

Summary of Duties:

  • Assist in the development and execution of long-term and short-term goals for alumni engagement
  • Collaborate with campus partners to organize and support institutional events involving alumni
  • Track alumni engagement activities; analyze and report participation data
  • Assist in identifying ways to increase participation in the alumni programs
  • Represent the alumni department at all university events
  • Maintain consistent communication with alumni through various methods; develop innovative methods to connect with alumni
  • Participate in strategic planning for alumni relations and advancement initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for the director and other department staff

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Active member of the church of Christ
