Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Targeting and audience building (the heart of the job)
  • Build and refine audiences in Google Ads and Meta: custom audiences, interest and behavioral segments, customer-list matching, retargeting pools
  • Own the targeting mechanics — geo and radius targeting, dayparting, device and placement controls, demographic and audience exclusions
  • Manage keyword work end to end: match types, search query mining, and building out negative keyword lists so we stop paying for the wrong clicks
  • Continuously narrow toward the people who actually apply and fund, and cut the segments that don't
  • In-platform execution
  • Build, QA, and launch campaigns — naming conventions, budgets, bid strategies, ad groups, asset sets, tracking parameters
  • Monitor pacing daily and flag when something needs to change
  • Build and test landing page variants with our web and creative resources
  • Keep the accounts clean: no orphaned campaigns, no broken links, no untracked spend

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager — actually building and managing campaigns, not observing them
  • Genuine skill with audience targeting and segmentation, and the instinct to keep narrowing
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in your real workflow — tell us what you use, what it replaced, and what got better
  • Strong analytical ability: confident in spreadsheets, comfortable in GA4, able to read a performance report and say what to do next
  • Care about accuracy — you check whether the tracking is right before trusting the number
  • Self-starter comfortable on a lean team, where the person who notices the problem is the person who fixes it

Preferred

  • Exposure to conversion tracking setup (pixels, Google Ads conversions, GA4 events)
  • Lead-generation experience where lead quality mattered, not just volume
  • Copywriting or creative production ability
  • SQL, Looker Studio, Google Ads scripts, or light Python
  • Mortgage, real estate, insurance, or another regulated / considered-purchase vertical
  • CRM or marketing automation exposure (HubSpot or similar)

Benefits

  • Medical
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • 401(k)
  • PTO
