Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support development of content for WSP proposals and other marketing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Strategic Growth Team, including other marketing consultants and graphic designers.
  • Support authoring proposal and marketing content, conveying technical information simply while telling our story, highlighting our strengths, and convey key messages.
  • Provide copy editing, proofreading, and review support for proposals and other marketing collateral.
  • Gather information through research, statistical reports and interviews with technical staff to write content for proposals and other marketing collateral.
  • Apply new technologies and innovations across the business for proposals and presentations, including creative media approaches and digital tools.
  • Complete training on assigned tasks.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Demonstrated interest in Marketing, Communications, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work and projects.
  • Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
  • Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
  • Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Preferred

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.
  • Experience with event management/coordination.
  • Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
