Job Summary

Own the college’s undergraduate recruitment narrative by coordinating visits, delivering admissions presentations, and driving integrated marketing campaigns that attract diverse, qualified applicants to Saint Mary’s College.

  • Coordinate recruitment activities across high school visits, fairs, and campus events to drive inquiries and applications.
  • Partner with the admissions marketing team to design and execute campaigns and communications that resonate with prospective students and counselors.
  • Counsel applicants through the process, evaluate applications, and ensure accurate recruitment records while advancing enrollment goals.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment visits and events (virtual and in-person) including high school visits, college fairs, open houses, and campus events.
  • Contact prospective students, give admissions presentations, review applications, and occasionally provide campus tours.
  • Support undergraduate recruitment marketing initiatives as an integral member of the admissions marketing team.
  • Assist with communications to prospective students, parents, and high school counselors.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns; write, edit, and design email and print campaigns; create marketing and web content; coordinate recruitment communications and print mailings.
  • Manage assigned geographic territories, recruit diverse students, counsel applicants, evaluate applications, and participate in recruitment events and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, participate in professional development, and contribute to enrollment management initiatives while communicating the Catholic, residential, women’s college experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value of a Catholic, residential, women’s college experience for prospective undergraduates.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to develop creative marketing content.
  • Experience utilizing traditional and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel independently and navigate unfamiliar environments.
  • Ability to make presentations to individuals and groups and maintain effective communication with students, parents, alumnae, and guidance counselors.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Google Docs, including spreadsheets, and ability to learn new systems and databases.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully complete criminal background and moving violation checks.
  • Must be willing to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred
  • Spanish speaking language skills strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in college admission, recruitment, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Experience developing print, email, and web-based marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Experience working in an enrollment management or higher education environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated creativity, high energy, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team preferred.
