Job Summary

Own the adjunct teaching cycle for business courses in online or in person formats, delivering content, grading, and program assessment while ensuring student guidance and flexible workload.

  • Course delivery: Instruct assigned courses, provide syllabi and instructional materials, and use the LMS to deliver instruction.
  • Assessment and reporting: Grade submission and participation in program assessment to measure course outcomes.
  • Student access: Offer one hour of weekly office hours and manage a 1–2 course load per semester on an as needed basis.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Instruct an assigned course, providing syllabi and other instructional materials
  • Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
  • Reporting grades as well as cooperating in program assessment
  • In addition to meeting all scheduled class sessions, adjunct faculty are expected to offer one hour of office hours each week
  • Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related major
  • Fully asynchronous online OR in-person only modality
  • Physical and Other Requirements: May require standing for long periods of time
  • May require talking for long periods of time
  • May require carrying course materials

Preferred

  • Demonstrated interest in general marketing, digital marketing, sports marketing, entertainment marketing, sales management, advertising, and public relations
  • Professionals with experience in the above will be given preference
