Account Supervisor, Health Comms Guru

Responsibilities

• Pipeline & Data Storytelling: Turn complex clinical data, trial results and pipeline milestones into clear, compelling stories and materials, from press releases and data announcements to topline story briefs that get noticed by media, patients and the scientific community.
• Milestones & Congresses: Help drive communications around big data moments and major medical congresses like ADA, ECO, EASD and ObesityWeek. Keep timelines, embargoes and deliverables moving across teams and partners, making sure every claim is complaint.
• Competitive & Scientific Intelligence: Stay close to the science, the pipeline and the competition. Bring those insights to the table to sharpen positioning and strengthen strategy.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with account leads to build strong client relationships, contribute to client conversations and help keep projects moving from idea to execution.
• Healthcare & Cultural Fluency: Stay on top of what’s happening across healthcare, media and culture—and know what it means for the account and the work.
• Team Leadership: Be a go-to teammate for junior staff, sharing knowledge, providing guidance and helping others grow.
• Tech & Emerging Channels: Bring curiosity about digital, social, LLMs and emerging channels, including newsfluencers and owned media, to help shape how pipeline stories show up across today’s media landscape.
• Financial Management: Pitch in on the business side, including projections, forecasting and invoicing, to help keep the account running smoothly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in healthcare communications, ideally with exposure to clinical data, pipeline, or scientific storytelling
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing messaging and data-driven materials
• Genuine curiosity about science and the healthcare climate, with an eagerness to learn how complex data becomes a headline
• Collaborative, yet able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Resourceful and proactive in problem solving, with creative approaches to completing tasks efficiently
