About O2DCA

O2 Digital Creative Agency has been building digital solutions in Pittsburgh since 2010- everything from brochure sites and e-commerce to mobile apps and custom business management software. We also run full-service digital marketing, including paid search, paid media, email marketing, and social strategy and execution. We're a tight-knit team of strategists, designers, developers, and marketers who genuinely like working together- and who genuinely like our clients. We keep our finger on the pulse of the latest innovative technology and industry standards to giving our client’s a digital experience that doesn't feel like everyone else’s.

Job Overview

We're looking for a relationship-driven, high-accountability Account Manager to be the connective tissue between our clients and our internal creative, technical, and marketing teams. You'll own the relationship for a handful of our clients, which means you're the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks: communication stays clear, work doesn't stall, clients stay aligned on expectations, and scope doesn’t creep without anyone noticing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Projects Start to Finish: From discovery to launch, you will manage the full lifecycle of complex website development, application builds, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional client initiatives.
  • Translating Between Clients and Our Tech Team: Turn complex client requests into structured, actionable development tasks, and keep communication clear between non-technical clients and our internal developer and marketing teams.
  • Coordinating Across Teams: Coordinate workflows across developers, designers, and marketing team to manage bandwidth and resource scheduling.
  • Managing Scope & Budget: Monitor project deliverables and financial targets; spot out-of-scope requests early and either implement change orders or escalate gray areas to leadership.
  • Project Tracking & Reporting: Own our project management platform's tracking systems, keeping dashboards clean and real-time for milestone visibility.

What We’re Looking For

  • Account Management Expertise: You have 5+ years managing marketing, software, or web projects in an agency or tech environment- bonus points if you've lived inside Teamwork.com, ClickUp, Monday.com, Confluence, or something similar.
  • Technical Literacy: You're comfortable in technical conversations - server deployments, staging environments, data structures, dev timelines - without needing everything dumbed down for you.
  • Process & Efficiency Mindset: You've streamlined a process or two. You notice when teams are working in silos and you love optimizing processes.
  • Strong, Confident Communicator: You're a strong communicator, full stop. You can run a client call, explain a delay without causing a panic, and present a complicated timeline in a way that actually makes sense.
  • Hands-On Execution: You get things done. Not paralyzed by ambiguity — you figure it out, keep the details straight, and keep things moving.

90-120 Day Impact Milestones

  • You're fully up to speed. You know our services, our workflows, and how the team operates well enough to run the client pipeline on your own.
  • Every project is tracked and accurate. Whatever's in the PM software matches reality — scope, dependencies, deadlines, and who owns what, all clearly mapped out.
  • Things move faster. Fewer stalled tasks, fewer things falling through the cracks, because you're following up before they become problems.

What We Value

  • Shows up with good energy. Positive, engaged, and someone the team can count on.
  • Owns the outcome. Takes responsibility when things go right- and when they don't. Holds teammates to a high bar, too.
  • Doesn't let weak work slide. Collaborates well across the team, but won't let something half-baked land in front of a client.
  • Cares about the details. Not just the big picture- the small stuff, the data, the final polish.
  • Always pushing for better. Better work, better process, better results for clients.
  • O2 is growing, and this is a genuinely exciting time to join the team- you can help shape how this agency runs moving forward.

The Fun Stuff

  • Hybrid schedule: In-office Monday and Wednesday (just 10 minutes from Pittsburgh International Airport), remote the rest of the week (and you'll have your own office when you're in.)
  • Top-tier equipment: We provide all the high-end tech you need to do your job well.
  • Health & dental: A generous employer-paid medical and dental plan.
  • Retirement: After a year with us, you get a 2% non-elective contribution - no match required on your end.
  • Time off: 3 weeks of PTO plus 12 paid holidays.

And beyond the perks - we're a small, tight-knit team that actually likes spending time together and has big plans for the agency. You'll know everyone's name, your work will be visible, and there's a lot of room to have fun while we build something good.
