Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for multiple client accounts, developing strong relationships and ensuring projects and deliverables remain on track
• Write and edit a broad range of marketing and communications materials, including social media posts, website copy, sales and marketing collateral, thought leadership articles, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns and other corporate content
• Lead client intake calls and interviews with subject-matter experts, translating complex information and ideas into clear, compelling content
• Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, industry, audiences, key messages and tone of voice
• Help develop content strategies, editorial calendars and ideas that support clients’ broader marketing and business objectives
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, proactively communicating with clients and internal teams to keep work moving
• Anticipate client needs, questions and potential roadblocks and recommend solutions
• Collaborate closely with Forefront’s PR, Digital, Design and Account Management teams to develop integrated client programs
• Monitor relevant industry and competitor activity to identify new content ideas and opportunities
• Apply SEO best practices to content deliverables as needed, including strategies to improve visibility across LLM-powered search platforms

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, content or a similarly writing-intensive role
• Exceptional writer and editor with the ability to make complicated subjects clear, concise and engaging
• Strong verbal communication and client-facing skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Ability to manage multiple clients, projects and competing priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable interviewing executives and subject-matter experts and asking the right questions to uncover a compelling story
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar and technical subject matter
• Strong judgment and ability to adapt writing style, tone and format for different clients, audiences and objectives
• Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets or B2B technology is a significant plus, but not required
• Experience developing content for social media, websites and thought leadership programs
