Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is to develop meaningful, long-standing client relationships consistent with strategic objectives.
  • Work in tandem with vendor core account manager to create cross-functional communication plans for clients and prospects.
  • Responsible for successfully managing existing accounts by striving to understand customers' expectations, developing marketing strategies, measuring results, and delivering against assigned territory targets/goals.
  • Responsible for penetrating new accounts by identifying, developing, and executing outreach strategies for advertising product offerings.
  • Works closely with marketing and media departments to identify new growth and product opportunities.
  • Provide advertising support strategies and direction to account management coordinator.
  • Make regular calls on assigned customers to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of company-offered product lines (including the core business for cross-sales).
  • Ability to recommend appropriate solutions/applications to meet customer needs.
  • Analyzes market research, identifies trends, and develops specific, valuable resources to drive conversations and create constructive dialogues with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com.
  • Familiarity with advertising and marketing concepts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives by e-mail and phone.
  • Experience thinking through problems creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in working collaboratively with a small team.
  • Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative on projects and customer service interactions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in advertising sales a plus.
