Responsibilities

• Prioritize work, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and actively communicate progress and deliverables to account teams
• Work effectively across all departments in the agency
• Join the Public Affairs team in NY to work for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small nonprofits and advocacy groups
• Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm in PR duties and relationship-building

Requirements

• BA or defined education in marketing, PR, communications, journalism, or a related concentration
• Ideally, one year of public relations experience, preferably in an agency
• Prior experience or interest in politics, government, real estate or issue-based advocacy

Preferred

• Interest or experience in politics, government, real estate or issue-based advocacy
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Obsession with consuming and digesting media
• You love media relations, a lot
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Strict attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• You have a ‘make it happen’ attitude – someone who is scrappy, creative, asks questions, provides status updates, and speaks to performance around key results
