Drive donor engagement and content creation for a new nonprofit as an independent contractor.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify community events, fairs, panels, and donor‑adjacent spaces
  • Attend 3–6 onboarding events with the Founder
  • Represent Unidos for Hope to donors, partners, and donation hubs
  • Bring pupusas to designated tabling events and manage sales
  • Distribute outreach cards and collect contacts
  • Provide post‑event summaries and insights
  • Eventually attend select events independently
  • Research mission‑aligned grants
  • Draft and submit applications
  • Track deadlines, submissions, and follow‑ups
  • Maintain a clean grant pipeline

Requirements

  • 6–8-month term
  • Independent Contractor status
  • Remote position (no formal office)
  • Milestone‑based compensation structure

Preferred

  • Nonprofit experience
  • Grant writing experience
  • Experience in social media content creation (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Event coordination or community outreach
  • Proficiency with AI tools for content creation
