Responsibilities

• Develop and lead social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Define content direction — what we post, why it matters, and how it performs
• Partner with and provide direction to a junior marketing assistant to ensure strong execution
• Own both strategy and execution — setting direction while also ensuring it’s carried through
• Optimize content for engagement, reach, and conversion
• Contribute to overall marketing strategy and campaign planning
• Provide input and lead website messaging and brand positioning
• Identify opportunities for strategic marketing improvement - SEO, PR, etc.

Requirements

• Strong experience in social media strategy (this is a core requirement)
• Broader understanding of digital marketing and brand positioning
• Ability to think in terms of content, messaging, and conversion
• Comfortable working in a small business environment and wearing multiple hats
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to take ownership
• Strong understanding of Gen Z consumer behavior
• Experience in hospitality, events, weddings, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus
• This role will require content capture at events - some nights & weekends will be required from time to time
• Part-time: 15-20 hours per week
