Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase engagement and community presence.
  • Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule compelling content across all social media platforms.
  • Social Media Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Editorial: Proofreads all Marketing and Public Relations materials.
  • Editorial: Assist with writing and proofreading press releases for media outlets.
  • Content Development And Brand Marketing: Collaborate with internal departments to produce engaging digital content that aligns with the college’s brand voice and goals.
  • Content Development And Brand Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of brand marketing campaigns that enhance college visibility and attract students.
  • Content Development And Brand Marketing: Write, edit, and proofread content for various platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Content Development And Brand Marketing: Create reels, videos for social media platforms, and website content.
  • Content Development And Brand Marketing: Provide coverage of college events and take photographs as requested.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as other content production software.
  • Experience with and proficient knowledge of digital and social media marketing. This includes, but is not limited to, Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
  • Previous knowledge of website management software such as Presto Sports, Drupal, WordPress, or other similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communication skills required.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred

  • A strong background in graphic design and experience in website management is highly preferred.
