Job Summary

Own content and SEO for product listings from descriptions to metadata, with category and URL optimization affecting on-site discovery.

Content ownership: write and edit product descriptions, attribution, metadata, and category/URL optimization to boost on-site relevance.
Keyword and performance: conduct keyword research and SEO content updates to improve rankings and marketplace descriptions.
Collaborative upkeep: update old listings and maintain listings in coordination with the Primary Arms Team.

Responsibilities

The Web Content Specialist is responsible for writing/editing optimized product descriptions, attribution, and meta data for our website.
Creates, edits, and maintains product listings
Writes and edits SEO optimized content
Keyword research
Update old product listings for optimization
Other tasks related to content development
Optimize product categories, subcategories, and URLs
Other tasks, as assigned, within the Primary Arms Team

Requirements

Creative writing and collaboration skills
Experience with firearms and accessories from an enthusiast or industry perspective
Self-motivated and enthusiastic, can work with limited supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Acute attention to detail
Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multitask
Fast learner with ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced environment
Experience developing product description and keyword research for marketplaces
SEO experience
Familiarity with SEO tools e.g. MOZ, Spyfu, SEM Rush, AhRefs, Google Search Console
