Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of destination strategy leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Be the strategic advisor executive clients actually trust - the one they call before the board meeting, not after.
  • Read the market before it turns. Catch the traveler shifts, competitive moves, and emerging trends, and turn them into strategy that keeps clients ahead of the curve.
  • Partner with agency leadership and cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing solutions that align strategy, creative, media, PR, and digital efforts.
  • Bring the strategic firepower to pitches and new-business runs - and help win the clients worth winning.
  • Help shape the direction of the Destination Strategy practice while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Karsh Hagan Media.
  • Champion strategic excellence across the agency, ensuring every client engagement delivers meaningful value and exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading high-performing teams while developing future leaders through coaching, mentorship, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to connect market insights, consumer behavior, and business objectives into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong executive presence and confidence building trusted relationships with C-suite clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of destination marketing, tourism, traveler trends, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence audiences ranging from internal teams to executive client leadership.
  • A collaborative leadership style that thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced agency environment.
  • A growth mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and elevating both people and processes.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for travel and helping destinations tell their stories in meaningful, measurable ways.
