Job Summary

NAEHD seeks a volunteer to develop and launch a short-term social media strategy, templates, and a content calendar to advance health equity. The role includes messaging, branding templates, scheduling guidance, and cross-platform outreach support. Remote engagement and nonprofit branding experience preferred.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch a short‑term social media strategy that strengthens NAEHD’s online presence and alignment with our mission to end health disparities and advance health equity.
  • Create key templates, processes, and examples for ongoing use after the project ends.
  • Produce a 4‑ to 6‑week content calendar with sample posts and recommended posting cadence.
  • Create a set of Canva templates aligned with branding (colors, fonts, and logo).
  • Develop messaging guidelines and 3–5 sample campaign ideas (e.g., board spotlights, webinar recaps, recruitment features).
  • Provide brief recommendations for scheduling and engagement tracking.
  • Implement the volunteer's work directly across platforms to support outreach, recruitment, and visibility.
  • Support outreach, recruitment, and public engagement to connect patients, professionals, and partners with the movement.

Requirements

  • Remote/work-from-home availability.
  • Ability to commit to deliverables within a 4–6 week project timeline.

Preferred

  • Experience creating social media calendars and templates.
  • Familiarity with branding guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Background in health equity or nonprofit communications.
