Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, update, and maintain the WOCOTM website to ensure a clean, modern, and accessible layout
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate visuals, graphics, and multimedia elements that enhance user experience
  • Ensure all pages are mobile-responsive and optimized for performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues as needed
  • Incorporate SEO best practices to increase visibility and engagement
  • Write and edit clear, inspiring, and mission-driven web copy for pages such as “About Us,” “Programs,” “Events,” and “Get Involved”
  • Develop compelling calls-to-action that encourage volunteering, donations, and event participation
  • Craft blog posts, news updates, and success stories highlighting WOCOTM’s global initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience in web design (WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO, website layout, and user experience principles
  • Proficiency in basic HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe XD, or Figma
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Passion for WOCOTM’s mission and women’s empowerment

Preferred

  • Background in marketing, communications, digital media, or nonprofit work
  • Experience designing for accessibility and inclusivity
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
