Job Summary

media production ownership: build and manage the full lab media pipeline from concept to delivery for training, promo, and documentation, while guiding customers on policies and best practices.

  • Media production operations: plan, shoot, edit, and deliver professional photography and videography across multiple projects.
  • Client consultation and project management: assess needs, craft concepts, and ensure on time, on brief delivery with stakeholders.
  • Policy guidance and standards: advise on media policies and best practices to ensure compliant, high-quality visuals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Produce professional digital photography and videography for training, promotional, documentation, and other official Laboratory purposes.
  • Consult with customers to assess project needs, develop visual media concepts, and recommendappropriate solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for photographic and videographic services, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
  • Advise customers on Laboratory media policies, procedures, and best practices for visual communications.
  • Independently plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects while resolving technical and creative challenges to deliver high-quality media products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Videography, Visual Communications, Multimedia, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience producing digital photography and/or videography.
  • Experience developing presentations or other multimedia communication products.
  • Proficiency with professional photo and video editing software and digital asset management tools.
  • Experience managing projects from planning through final production with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of digital imaging, photography, videography, and multimedia production techniques.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate visual media solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Ability to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolution

Preferred

  • Experience supporting communications, training, documentation, or public affairs initiatives in a government, research, or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of organizational media policies, branding standards, and visual communication best practices.
  • Ability to solve complex creative and technical challenges while maintaining a high standard of quality.
