Job Summary

Build end-to-end video edits from concept to publish, owning hooks, cuts, captions, and scripting for short form and evergreen YouTube content.

  • Reel script and hook ownership for A/B testing.
  • Video cuts across reels, TikTok, and Shorts with retention-ready pacing and captions.
  • YouTube long-form edits and scripting for evergreen neighborhood guides.

Job Description

  • Write reel scripts, drafting two hooks per video so we can A/B test what lands.
  • Cut captured footage into reels, TikToks, and Shorts across our three video formats — B-roll, pacing built for retention, and burned-in on-screen captions.
  • Draft the post caption for each piece using our five-beat structure, so the cut and the copy ship together.
  • Edit our long-form YouTube videos — the neighborhood and area guides that rank in search and keep working for years — and help script them.
  • Coordinate academic-credit internship eligibility with your university.
