Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Leadership Expectations: Act as a steward for overall company success and enterprise alignment through clear communication of direction, deliverables, expectations, and adjustments across the Senior Team. Model collaboration, disciplined prioritization, and constructive challenge—balancing growth initiatives with execution capacity and risk management. Champion the operating discipline required scale processes, communication, and decision-making within the revenue functions and across the enterprise.
  • Core Responsibilities - Strategy & GTM Planning Responsibility: Revenue leader with track record of measurable commercial outcomes including contribution to pipeline, customer acquisition, long term customer- and enterprise- value capture. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to meet revenue objectives and increase market share. Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activity, voice of the customer, customer needs and behavior. Evaluate role of technology, AI, and machine learning for scaling and automating key processes of marketing analyses, processes and customer experiences. Establish value proposition and core positioning across markets and partner channels. Work with C-suite and department heads (sales, product, finance, service) to align marketing with business goals and translate corporate objectives into a multi-year GTM plan spanning Direct Sales, Indirect Sales, National Accounts, and Marketing. Select and manage relationships with third parties to support marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Management Responsibility: Oversee all brand-related activities ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all channels. Develop plans and ensure customer experience reinforces brand goals and customer satisfaction across the customer order and buying lifecycle. Oversee design and creative direction in support of brand, campaign and customer communications. Establish and approve acceptable use of company’s brand portfolio across partner channels.
  • Demand and Performance Marketing Responsibility: Oversee and allocation marketing resources across a portfolio of campaign program including brand activation, content marketing, ABM, net revenue retention, product launch and cross-sell programs. Drive digital leadership, digital marketing, traditional marketing, performance marketing, and MarTech adoption. Oversee demand generation, lead plans and execution for marketing spend and ROI for direct contribution to sales pipeline. Partner with sales leadership and ensure marketing supports sales enablement programs that scale with a growing organization. Champion new market entry initiatives for existing and adjacent products and services. Ensure KPI targets align with business objectives, including but not limited to CAC, LTV, Marketing ROI and customer satisfaction levels. Budgeting & P&L: Allocate and manage the marketing budget, ensuring ROI and profitability.
  • Leadership, Talent, and Culture: Build and sustain a high-performance culture grounded in empowerment, accountability, coaching, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. Develop leadership depth and succession plans; ensure role clarity, effective delegation, and strong performance management across the revenue organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a VP-level leadership position.
  • Track record of managing a $50M+ marketing-influenced revenue pipeline, and hitting quarterly pipeline targets.
  • Direct experience managing an annual marketing budget of at least $5M+, with full accountability for return on ad spend (ROAS), campaign ROI, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience directly hiring, managing, and scaling a team of 10 to 20 full-time marketing professionals, in addition to managing external technical and agency partners.
  • Hands-on experience selecting, implementing and directing the support of front-end technology stack for marketing, website, and related solutions including headless CMS, marketing automation, structured and unstructured analytics platforms, and related apps required to support the function.
  • Experience in product companies that combine hardware, software, and services, particularly recurring revenue or SaaS components.
  • Proven experiences marketing solutions to both executive level and field-based buyers and influencer personas.
  • Success integrating acquisitions or launching adjacent product lines.
  • Construction related experiences a plus.
