Job Summary

Drive end-to-end production for Walmart marketing across video/photo/motion, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, agencies, and legal to manage bids, risk, and governance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Remove roadblocks to production and coordinate with cross functional partners to create timelines and process that works for production workstreams
  • Collaborate closely with internal WCS and external agency partners’ creative and production teams, in-house marketers, and finance partners to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Clearly communicate project status with stakeholders and marketing managers as the production subject matter expert
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and maintain a positive attitude throughout
  • Work with legal and business affairs teams to build contracts, secure usage rights, assess risk, and clear work for distribution.
  • Bid, hire and manage all production partners for content projects. This includes managing shoots (video and photo), post-production, animation, and digital
  • Oversee producers across different work streams and create production efficiencies where possible
  • Establish production guidelines and playbooks for all content developed by Walmart marketing.
  • Ongoing review of production processes and practices with an eye toward enhancing and increasing effectiveness
  • Provide on set production governance alongside WCS creatives and provide IP related feedback during reviews

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a producer with experience in video/motion, print, social and advertising.
  • 4+ years of experience leading project delivery for large, cross functional projects
  • Extensive contacts in photography, motion and post industries
  • An online portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating great solutions across a range of production-related issues
  • Experience across the production lifecycle from in-camera capture to multi-channel deployment
  • Strong understanding of production processes for TV, Print, OOH, Digital Videos, Web, Mobile, Social, and Experiential media
  • Background working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with designers, account, and project managers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of photo, video and animation work
  • Able to identify and mitigate risk on projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience

Preferred

  • Marketing/creative agency experience, in-house experience
  • Experience in the Marketing, Retail or eCommerce industry
