Job Description

Drive digital ad campaigns for The Humane League, owning end-to-end paid strategy across acquisition, engagement, and fundraising.

  • Execute campaigns and use iterative optimization tactics to maximize the efficacy of ad sets across: - Supporter Acquisition: Drive qualified online supporter acquisition through targeted ad campaigns - Supporter Engagement: Maintain pressure on corporate targets by driving supporters to action at key campaign moments - Supporter Retention: Execute retargeting campaigns to maintain supporter connections - Fundraising: Implement evergreen and quarterly fundraising campaigns for donor acquisition, retention, and monthly giving, in collaboration with the Development team - Corporate Engagement: Execute corporate campaign ads and targeted outreach initiatives - Public Policy: Support time-sensitive legislative action campaigns - Other initiatives: Support ad campaigns for merch promotion, organizing recruitment, event promotion, and other organizational priorities as needed

Requirements

  • Experience running and optimizing digital ads on platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), and Google. Ability to produce impactful, attention-grabbing ad creative and execute digital advertising campaigns effectively. Must be able to complete Meta advertiser verification to run ads targeting U.S. audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Meta Ads Manager and other digital advertising platforms. Comfortable learning new tools and technologies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with cross-functional teams, actively supports team goals, contributes valuable ideas, and adapts to changing team dynamics.
  • Problem Solving: Independently resolves routine problems and troubleshoots campaign performance issues using past experiences and available resources. Comfortable proposing improvements and addressing challenges.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to write compelling ad copy, explain ideas clearly and concisely, and ensure messages are easily understood by different audiences.
  • Time Management: Plans and prioritizes work effectively to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to deadlines. Manages multiple concurrent campaigns while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Proactively responds to changes in work environment or project requirements. Effectively shifts priorities and seeks opportunities to develop new skills.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret campaign performance data, identify trends and apply insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Strategic Awareness: Understands how individual tasks align with broader organizational strategy. Contributes ideas for process enhancements that support team objectives.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
