Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct media monitoring and research across client verticals — law, finance, diplomacy, and AI — and surface relevant news and trends
  • Research journalists, editors, and producers to support targeted media outreach
  • Build and maintain media lists for active campaigns
  • Draft press releases, executive bios, media alerts, and pitch emails
  • Support pitch strategy and media outreach across multiple accounts
  • Develop a working understanding of each client’s industry, positioning, and communications objectives
  • Take notes on client calls and internal strategy sessions
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Current college student (junior or senior preferred) studying communications, journalism, PR, or a related field
  • Excellent writing skills, clear, precise, and adaptable across formats
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with clear follow-through
  • Familiar with the news cycle and attuned to trends across industries
  • AP Style familiarity is a plus
  • Interest in executive communications, law, finance, or AI is a plus
