Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizes, designs, and produces curriculum, training, and/or promotional materials such as flyers, ads, brochures, logos, office signage, exhibits, and/or displays.
  • Assists with the development and design of marketing projects, including digital designs, print advertisements, videos, photos, posters, banners, presentations, and other marketing materials
  • Assists with marketing content development including written content development and publishing on social media platforms
  • Assists with social media marketing including posts, videos, audience engagement and sponsored content
  • Supports office promotional duties such as welcoming incoming students, engaging existing students and tabling at student-centric events
  • Coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality: writes printing and other reproduction specifications.
  • May provide technical computer support and install software programs.
  • May design and maintain websites.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment
  • Knowledge of graphic layout and photographic requirements and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
  • Skills in the utilization of specified computerized graphic design programs
  • Ability to analyze graphic and technical information and create interpretive illustrations
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting incoming first year and transfer students.
  • Have experience working with the public.
  • Show the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.
