Responsibilities

  • Research, write, film, direct, edit, and produce content that effectively serves business needs and communicates the concept to stakeholders and collaborators
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including managing feedback rounds. Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to plan video or photo shoots
  • Be capable of completing work in a single day or within a multi-week production, locally as well as out of state and internationally
  • Strong ability to use modern video and audio recording and editing equipment to meet high-demand and creative video needs. Strong understanding of post-production processes, capable of taking a project from concept to completion
  • Be able to work with resources available to ensure videos are completed on time and within budget, maintaining Tesla’s video standards and advancing the unique Tesla brand and connection with our audience

Requirements

  • 8 - 10 years' experience in a videographer/producer/editor role at an agency, production company, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department advancing the business
  • Highly creative, organized with attention to detail, able to carry multiple projects in parallel, a great communicator, and has the ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growth
  • Skilled in researching, writing, filming, editing, building relationships, and managing projects
  • Strong understanding of video, photography, design, and content principles and practices. Hands-on experience with operating a camera or other video/audio equipment is preferred
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, adaptability, and working in the office 5 days a week
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and propose creative ideas to achieve People Content’s priorities
  • Positive attitude with a bias for taking action and seeking feedback quickly and proactively. Thrives in a collaborative environment that values feedback and building trust
