Job Summary

Own the multi-channel marketing effort for a youth sports client with strong ownership of strategy, content, and community engagement.

  • Plan and manage campaigns across digital, social, print, and events to drive brand, programming, and growth.
  • Create engaging content for youth athletes, families, and partners and coordinate with the agency for strategy and reporting.
  • Track metrics and deliver regular client and leadership-level updates to show impact and guide next steps.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact embedded within the client's organization
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support the client's brand, programming, and growth goals
  • Plan and manage campaigns across digital, social, print, and event channels
  • Create and oversee content that engages youth athletes, families, and community partners
  • Coordinate with Newviews agency teams on strategy, creative, and reporting
  • Manage the client's social media presence, email marketing, and community communications
  • Support event marketing, registration campaigns, and seasonal programming promotions
  • Track performance metrics and deliver regular reporting to both the client and agency leadership
  • Build relationships with local media, sponsors, and community stakeholders on behalf of the client

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a sports, recreation, or youth organization setting
  • Direct experience working with a youth sports organization — youth soccer experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of youth soccer leagues, clubs, or governing bodies (e.g., US Youth Soccer, AYSO, regional leagues)
  • Familiarity with sports registration and management platforms (e.g., TeamSnap, SportsEngine, GotSoccer)
  • Based in Richmond, VA with the ability to commute

Preferred

  • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, given the diversity of youth soccer communities
