Job Summary
Own Makita’s social voice and content cadence across multiple platforms with a focus on growth, engagement, and measurable performance.
- Own daily social content and monitor performance to drive impressions, reach, and engagement.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Brand to run partnerships, sweepstakes, and live events while protecting the brand.
- Build and optimize follower growth and content strategy using a centralized hashtag library and cross-team planning.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Keep up on social media trends (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X)
- Manage daily social media posts across all platforms
- Manage comments and direct messages
- Keep tabs on the performance of Makita’s social media content
- Schedule and plan social media content through the Hootsuite social media management tool
- Keep tabs on the performance of sponsored ads on social media
- Respond and comment on posts, where applicable
- Collaborate with the Customer Service department to provide solutions to inquiries about repairs, promos, and more
- Recommend, create, and implement tactics to increase followers/subscribers across channels
- Monitor Makita activity across social media channels, including user-generated content
