Job Summary

Own content creation and local outreach for a small healthcare practice, turning community events and patient-focused storytelling into social impact and measurable awareness.

  • Social Content Ownership: Plan, schedule, and publish across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn with brand-consistent visuals and patient relevance.
  • Video & Local Activation: Capture and edit short-form video, film on-site at the clinic and at community events, and convert footage into publish-ready content.
  • Community & Partnerships: Identify local marketing opportunities, partnerships, and grassroots outreach to lift local visibility and engagement.

Job Description

  • Develop, schedule, and manage engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create graphics, reels, stories, and posts aligned with the practice's brand voice and patient audience
  • Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and track performance metrics
  • Research trending healthcare topics and local community events to inform content strategy
  • Capture, edit, and produce short-form video content for social media and the practice website
  • Conduct on-site filming at the practice and local community events
  • Edit footage using professional video editing tools to deliver polished, publish-ready content
  • Identify and pursue local marketing opportunities including community events, partnerships, and sponsorships
  • Distribute promotional materials and represent the practice at local outings as needed
  • Support grassroots outreach efforts to increase brand awareness within the surrounding community
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program (MBA, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or related field)
  • Demonstrated experience in social media content creation and management
  • Proficiency in video capture and editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience marketing to local or community-based audiences
  • Familiarity with healthcare or medical practice environments
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Business Profile, or local digital advertising
  • Real-world healthcare marketing experience in a clinical setting
  • A robust portfolio of content, video, and campaign work
  • Exposure to patient relations and medical office operations
  • A professional reference upon successful completion of the internship
