Own the social content engine for healthcare marketing, balancing platform specific storytelling, short-form video leadership, and cross functional execution to drive reach and leads.

  • Content & Video: Own creation, captions, graphics, and video production with tight deadlines.
  • Platform & Growth: Tailor LinkedIn versus Instagram/TikTok messaging for professionals and broader audiences; track with platform analytics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Create and manage content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels. Ensure a regular posting cadence with a mix of educational, behind-the-scenes, product-focused, and whimsical content.
  • Video Content Leadership: Conceptualize, produce, and optimize short-form videos (using in-house videographers, AI tools, stock assets, or self-production). Provide creative direction, feedback, and quality control to meet tight deadlines and brand standards.
  • Platform-Specific Content: Tailor messaging and tone effectively—professional, thought-leadership content for LinkedIn (e.g., surgeon testimonials, clinical insights) versus more dynamic, visual, and approachable content for Instagram/TikTok.
  • Content Creation & Management: Generate ideas, write captions, design graphics, and edit videos. Leverage AI tools and other resources to maximize efficiency and creativity.
  • Engagement & Growth: Monitor comments, messages, and trends; engage with audiences (including healthcare professionals); analyze performance metrics; and iterate to drive reach, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with videographers and marketing stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional input while owning execution.
  • Additional Support (Nice-to-Have): Assist with website updates (WordPress), basic CRM tasks (Salesforce), and other digital marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven track record creating and managing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, small-team environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative storytelling ability.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for consistent content delivery.
  • Comfort providing creative feedback and collaborating on video production.

Preferred

  • Experience or familiarity with medical devices, orthopedics, or healthcare marketing (understanding of compliance considerations a plus).
  • Technical skills: WordPress website updates and Salesforce CRM.
  • Proficiency with video editing tools, design tools, and AI content generators.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-starter who can take ideas and turn them into polished reality. Creative yet analytical. Passionate about healthcare innovation.

EDGe Surgical

EDGE Surgical reduces risks and delays in orthopedic plate and screw surgeries. Our Electronic Depth Gauge (EDG®) saves time, money, and prevents infections, removing risks associated with traditional, reusable depth gauges. The EDG®, universally compatible with major plate and screw systems, uses a digital display and patented hook to deliver consistent and accurate results each time. The single-use device is sterile packaged, eliminating any risk of contamination. EDGE addresses a frustration in orthopedic surgery. The reusable depth gauge is difficult to read, and its hidden nooks, crannies, and narrow cannulations trap bioburden in places reprocessing tools cannot reach, increasing the risk of contamination. EDG® delivers benefits across the organization by reducing unplanned tray replacement orders for supply chains, relieving SPD of cleaning duties for a difficult instrument, lowering risk management exposure, and helping OR leadership keep rooms on schedule.
