Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media content for Beyond Blue Outdoor Group and its related brands
  • Plan and maintain weekly and monthly social media and marketing calendars
  • Create and maintain a consistent look, voice, and message across all company brands and markets
  • Photograph and film active projects, completed projects, employees, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes company activity
  • Create short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
  • Edit photos and videos for social media, digital advertising, websites, and promotional campaigns
  • Write clear and engaging captions, project descriptions, advertisements, and marketing copy
  • Create graphics, advertisements, promotional materials, sales materials, and social media posts
  • Develop customer testimonials, project walkthroughs, employee spotlights, educational videos, and before-and-after content
  • Identify content opportunities by coordinating with salespeople, designers, project managers, office staff, and field crews

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of social media, content creation, and brand marketing
  • Experience creating content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Strong photography, videography, photo-editing, and video-editing skills
  • Graphic-design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar programs
  • Ability to create polished marketing content while also capturing authentic day-to-day company activity
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage content for multiple brands, locations, projects, and marketing campaigns
  • Comfortable working independently, identifying opportunities, and taking ownership of the position
  • Highly organized and able to properly label, store, and maintain photos, videos, graphics, and marketing materials
  • Comfortable visiting active construction sites and working around field crews and equipment

Preferred

  • A college degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is helpful but not required. A strong portfolio, creativity, reliability, marketing knowledge, and the ability to consistently produce quality work are more important to us.
