Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Strategy + Planning: Support the development of monthly and weekly social strategy aligned to brand priorities (launches, drops, partnerships, tour moments, etc.). Own weekly content planning: posting cadence, themes, recurring series, creative angles. Contribute ideas for campaign moments, creator storytelling, and viral content frameworks. Help keep the brand fresh and relevant by spotting cultural moments + internet shifts early
  • Platform Management + Posting: Own day-to-day posting across key channels (may evolve over time): Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed, Collabs); TikTok; Snapchat; YouTube Shorts (optional / if needed); X / Twitter; Reddit monitoring + engagement (brand reputation awareness + insights). Drafting and publishing posts in real-time when needed (especially around celeb talent moments). Writing punchy, on-brand captions (funny, confident, beauty-forward). Managing link-in-bio updates + story links when relevant. Ensuring content is posted cleanly + correctly (formatting, quality check, timing)
  • Trend + Culture Tracking (Daily): Track daily trends in hair/beauty TikTok, celebrity + pop culture moments, meme formats + audio trends. Bring forward quick “we should do this” ideas with examples + how we execute fast. Identify opportunities for Grow-Good to participate in trends without feeling forced
  • Community + Engagement: Manage and respond to comments and DMs (as the brand). Escalate sensitive issues quickly (product feedback, PR moments, complaints, misinformation). Build an intentional community voice: fun, warm, confident, and real. Support engagement strategies: polls, Q&As, comment prompts, duets, stitches, etc.
  • Light Reporting + What’s Working: Own lightweight weekly reporting: Top performing posts + why they worked; What underperformed + what we’re adjusting; Follower growth + engagement trends. Monitor key metrics including views, saves, shares, completion rate, engagement rate, CTR (when relevant). Recommend optimizations: hooks, timing, formats, content mix
  • Creator + Content Support: Work with creators/influencers/partners to ensure content gets posted and amplified properly. Help with UGC sourcing: identify and request content from customers and creators. Support quick-turn edits (light editing in CapCut preferred). Assist with capturing behind-the-scenes moments when available (events, shoots, tour moments)
