Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and communicate with the digital media team in developing content plans for Seahawks channels, tentpole events and other opportunities
  • Exclusively own one or more social media platforms, including the day-to-day posting, content planning/gathering and more
  • Actively participate in the monitoring and engagement with fans
  • Evaluate key social media metrics to ensure effectiveness of accounts across all channels
  • Assist in the management of the team’s social media content calendar
  • Build out campaigns within a project management tool and help facilitate the project from ideation to completion
  • Provide live social media coverage of fan/community events as assigned
  • Work with internal departments (Public Relations, Corporate Partnerships, Community Engagement, Marketing, Football, etc.) in fulfilling digital media needs as requested
  • Manage various tasks for home/away games, including weekends, holidays and evenings

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled as a senior or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a college or university. Graduate school students are eligible
  • Above average fluency in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and other popular social media platforms, as well as their analytics
  • Experience managing social media for a team, brand or professional organization
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and thrive in the 24/7 NFL news cycle, handling multiple tasks at once with great attention to detail
  • Must be able to work unusual hours, includings nights, weekends and holidays
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week as well as gameday/nights, weekends and other various events

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of Adobe products, particularly Photoshop and/or Premiere is a plus
  • Interest and experience in the sports industry is a plus
