Job Summary

Build and manage a growth-focused Instagram content engine that highlights independent food and drink venues, drives engagement, and nurtures community collaborations.

  • Own the Instagram content calendar, post optimization, and engagement-driving formats to grow reach and followers.
  • Foster community through timely replies, partner interactions, and collaboration opportunities with venues.
  • Analyze metrics, test new formats, and align campaigns with brand standards across internal teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Instagram Manager will plan, create, and schedule high-quality Instagram content (posts, Stories, Reels) that showcases independent food and drink spots and drives audience engagement.
  • developing and executing platform-specific content strategies, managing the content calendar, and optimizing posts for reach, engagement, and follower growth.
  • The person in this role will engage with the community by responding to comments and messages, interacting with followers and partner venues, and identifying opportunities for collaborations.
  • Day-to-day tasks also include analyzing performance metrics, reporting insights, testing new formats and trends, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and effective campaigns.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with a focus on Instagram growth and engagement
  • Proven ability in Content Strategy and Writing, including planning content calendars and crafting compelling, on-brand captions
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, independent venues, and online communities
  • Demonstrated experience managing an Instagram account or similar social channel for a brand or organization
  • Familiarity with Instagram analytics, social media scheduling tools, and basic visual storytelling best practices
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Passion for food, drink, and supporting independent businesses; experience in hospitality or local marketing is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
