Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Coordinator will contribute in the development, implementation, and execution of social media strategies, content creation, community engagement, and paid content to enhance our online presence and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Content Creation and Management: Assist in developing and editing engaging paid and organic social media videos across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Edit long-form video content into shorts.
  • Field requests from our Paid Ads team to shoot and/or edit short-form content to be launched across multiple digital ad platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to meet deadlines and update a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely updates.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers and online communities to foster positive relationships and build brand awareness.
  • Assist the Social Media Manager in managing social media contests and promotions with influencers.
  • Social Media Analytics and Reporting: Track social media performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, impressions) using analytics tools.
  • Generate weekly reports to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling social media posts and managing social media accounts.

Requirements

  • This is an on-site position located in Louisville, KY.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, social media video production (filming and editing), and marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and content creation software (Resolve, Premiere, Capcut). Understanding of social media marketing strategies, best practices, and analytics.
  • Communication: Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A genuine desire to create high-performing video content in a self-motivated atmosphere with like-minded teammates. Comfortable speaking on camera for social content.
  • Adaptability: Flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Use of professional tools such as Slack, Monday, Google Suite, and 90.io
  • Team Player: Positive energy and reliability for team cohesion.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must have a reliable wifi bandwidth when working from home is necessary.
  • Travel: Comfortable with traveling across KY.
  • May be asked to attend events in or outside of the state to shoot content.

Preferred

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
