Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual and messaging style aligned with the church’s voice and mission
• Write compelling captions that reflect the heart and culture of the church
• Capture photo and video content during Sunday services and special events
• Coordinate and manage a team of volunteer photographers and videographers
• Create shot lists and ensure key moments are consistently captured
• Edit video content for reels, stories, and longer-form posts
• Perform basic photo editing to maintain quality and consistency
• Adapt content for different platforms and formats
• Maintain a content calendar and schedule posts in advance

Requirements

• Part-Time to Full-Time (25–40 hours/week) employment type and schedule
• Availability on Sundays to capture content
• Availability for 1–2 in-office workdays during the week
• Availability for occasional one-time and special events as needed
• Proficiency in video editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Basic photography and photo editing skills
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and branding
• Experience writing engaging social media captions

Preferred

• Previous experience managing social media accounts for organizations, brands, or ministries
• Familiarity with church culture and language is a plus
