Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Social Media Support: Stay plugged into emerging trends and adapt / develop content quickly to capitalize on new opportunities
  • Experience managing creators and partnerships, identifying and cultivating a selective community of creators (including dermatologists, aestheticians, and luxury lifestyle voices).
  • Manage the creation & posting of engaging, on-brand content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, writing compelling captions and copy that reflect brand voice and drive engagement
  • Build 30–60-day content calendars aligned to product launches, skincare seasons, holidays, and cultural moments relevant to a luxury skincare audience; Use content scheduling and management tools such as Later, Sprout Social, or similar platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and product teams to align social content with broader campaign initiatives.
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content optimized for Reels, TikToks, and Stories
  • Basic proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar apps
  • Reporting (weekly/monthly/YTD): Track and analyze social performance metrics and creator content performance against partnership investment in order to regularly optimize engagement, reach, and overall social presence.
  • Reactively engage with users on tagged posts, comments, and mentions across all social platforms (collaborating with customer care as needed)
  • Monitor and engage in general skincare, health/wellness and trending conversations where the brand can organically insert its voice
  • Conduct ongoing social media research to identify how target audiences are discovering and engaging with luxury brands, & content while building awareness of algorithm changes in reach and visibility.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of social media and community management experience, ideally with beauty, skincare, or luxury lifestyle focus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a warm, authentic voice
  • Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working independently across multiple platforms
  • Proven relationship-building skills and genuine enjoyment of connecting with people
  • Experience in scrappy, fast-moving startup environments
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and community dynamics
  • Experience with analytics tools beyond platform tools, as well as scheduling, and creative organizational tools
  • You are an excellent communicator — a good listener who can empathize with our users, manage user feedback, be responsive, and offer support so that we can improve the user experience for our community
  • Some experience in content creation (photography, graphics, video, and editorial/ visual skills) and scheduling content on multiple platforms
